Fritillaria imp. ‘Early Passion’ Bulb

Fritillaria imperialis ‘Early Passion’ produces clusters of shiny, dark yellow, bell-shaped flowers that open from the bottom up, displayed on tall, upright spikes in spring. Blooming from March to May, this striking bulb adds bold architectural interest and vibrant colour to garden borders and mixed plantings. It thrives best in full sun with well-drained, fertile soil and prefers sheltered locations to protect its tall stems from wind damage. Resistant to deer and rabbits, ‘Early Passion’ attracts pollinators, enhancing garden biodiversity. After flowering, it enters dormancy and benefits from being left undisturbed to naturalise gradually. Its dramatic presence suits both traditional and contemporary garden styles.
