Begonias are large-flowered tuberous perennials, often grown as annuals in window boxes and baskets. ‘Florence’ is a trailing variety with drooping, double, pink flowers in summer and autumn.

Position: Full sun to partial shade

Soil: Moist but well-drained, Neutral

Flowering Season: Summer

Plant the tubers in Spring, hollow side up in free-draining compost. Plant out when the last frosts. If you would like to keep your bulbs from one year to another, lift your bulbs in Autumn and let them dry before storing them.
